Island Dragway

The final event of the ECG season is the October Wayne Magers Memorial Race, at historic Island Dragway. The weather was rainy all week but cleared for our Sunday event. Unfortunately the Island crew could not adequately dry the top end of the track so for safety reasons this was a 1/8 mile event. We started the day with 16 cars.

Lebanon Valley Dragway
West Lebanon, NY
As stated in the last newsletter, Lebanon Valley Dragway is a great track to race at. It is good to be back for the second of our back-to-back scheduled events at LVD!

Lebanon Valley Dragway is always a fun track to race at. Always well prepped, plenty of pit area, and surrounded by scenic mountain views.
The Saturday event was a 14 car field.

Beaver Springs Dragway
Beaver Springs, PA
Everyone loves Beaver Springs Dragway. Great legacy, super friendly staff, and perhaps the best owner-manager in the business. A real “racer’s track.”
Because of the ominous Sunday forecast, Mike graciously offered to run both races on Saturday, and we gladly accepted.

Cecil County Dragway
Rising Sun, MD
Cecil County Dragway is a gem of a drag strip tucked away in scenic northern Maryland, and it is always a pleasure to race there. Great fans, excellent spectator attendance, and a recent repave to boot!

Epping, NH
The East Coast Gassers 2023 season once again kicked-off with a two day race at New England Dragway in Epping NH. The weather was sunny and warm and after a long winter everyone was ready to race!
